Food and Culture Unit Plan
Students will be engaged in interdisciplinary lessons while learning English and Chinese. This unit plan involves not only vocabulary, but understanding the food "cultures" associated with each of these languages. The cornerstone of the unit plan is a field trip where students go to a Chinese restaurant with the rest of the class to apply their learning to a real life situation.
